Caterpillar Inc. is an American construction equipment manufacturer. The company is the world's largest manufacturer of construction equipment. In 2018, Caterpillar was ranked number 73 on the Fortune 500 list and number 265 on the Global Fortune 500 list.


Opportunity

Caterpillar dealerships used a legacy system to Configure, Price, and Quote (CPQ) machines, which led to inefficiencies and a variety of costly errors.


Approach

We completed the following milestones:

  1. Interview Client Stakeholders & Accenture Subject Matter Experts

  2. Illustrate Journey Map & Actors

  3. Create Wireframes for Digital Touch Points

  4. Create Pixel-Perfect Clickable Demo

  5. Wow the client and win the competitive bid

We envisioned and delivered a high-fidelity, mobile first, CPQ experience for Dealerships in 6 weeks.

It was a competitive RFP (where agencies submit an approach to win a client's project) and we won!
